If you are hosting a fancy dress party, you will want to get things organised so that everyone has a great time at your party! Fancy dress itself is a theme, but if you want you can choose to have a personal theme for your party based on what you're going as; say for example a Spiderman theme, if you plan to dress like spidey!

Spiderman is after all, part spider, so you will want to have lots of webs about the place; you will need some wool or string to make your webs and hang them about, you can use streamers for this as well! Kids costumes can be bought online or in your local costume store. You can also make your own costume, it's easy and fun, and your party can begin a few hours early as you try and create your own Spiderman costume!

What you will need for a Spidey costume is some blue tights, some red fabric, and some paper to make eye patches, and some black paper to make the spider design on the front and back of your costume. Once you have these things, you're all set to go!

Make the cut outs of the spider drawing with the black paper by first drawing it out and then cutting it carefully. This will have to be stuck on your costume. If you want to add detail, you can also add the red spider web design on the chest and back beneath the spider.

You might also need gloves and boots to finish off the costume for your party. Whether you're going as spidey or not, you can host an amazing fancy dress party by adding little extra bits of fun to your event.
